POINT"Library"

The library at Aoyama Gakuin Women's Junior College provides students with an environment to enhance their minds and become creative. It is home to an extensive collection of intellectual heritage accumulated by our predecessors and the latest information (more than 320,000 books), and students can use these resources to determine which directions to take in academic life. Additionally, an aim of the library is to provide a venue for students to acquire a new type of sensitivity by using a wide range of media, not just by reading books. In particular, the area for "watching and listening" is extensive and has a collection of movies from all ages and countries and audio-visual materials (approximately 10,000). Also, students can use the Internet to access information from around the world. The library, indeed, serves as a venue for creation and as a source of intellectual society at the college.
